Over the next few weeks the rear tailgate adhesive began to pull away and lift at both ends. I used cargo straps to hold down the tailgate armor hoping for a perfect bond. Well, after I few months the tailgate armor became separated, the bonding adhesive failed to hold. I had to remove the tailgate armor.
